Emotions: Photofriday thumbnail

This photo was posted for the Photofriday.com challenge. This week’s challenge is “Emotions.” Although you can’t see faces, I think it’s clear from how she holds herself that the girl on the left is resistant to running into the water, while her friend is excited to drag her along. We’ve all had experiences like that, where a friend forces you do something you’re not sure you want to do but you do it anyway and it ends up being an adventure. I think this picture is interesting mainly because it’s body language that broadcasts their emotional states in this photo, and not their facial expressions.
