
I was still living in Santa Barbara, CA, next to the 101 freeway when this was taken. I was experimenting with the bulb setting on my film camera, which meant I pointed the lens at a cactus in the dark and held the shutter open for about 30 seconds or until I got bored. This would’ve been around 2002.
