2009 Archives

A water meter box cover in New Orleans, LA. To show support after Hurricane Katrina, these covers became a sort of community symbol and can be found on souvenir items such as t-shirts, jewelry, and coasters. Some people even steal the covers themselves. I photographed this one as I walked through the French Quarter. May 2009.

th_jet_tongue

Jet, my friend’s adorable little dog, licks his chops at the closest thing we have to a beach in Seattle, WA.

I’m experimenting with a new photoblog template and slowly getting everything as close to before as possible. The huge benefit of this is that I’ll be able to post larger photos. Thanks for your patience!

A dog and his tongue

One of the things I’ve been working on — instead of posting pictures — is a new way to let customers purchase On Focus Photo prints directly from the printer I use and love. The benefits are:

  • Prints will ship super fast
  • Wider variety of pay options
  • Print size offerings are vastly improved

If you like, you can also have them mat and frame pictures… and they provide a preview of what the final product would look like. They do great work.

You can see my new store at gallery.onfocusphoto.com. It’s slowly coming together and will someday soon replace the existing store. I don’t have an official switch-over date yet, but it’s on its way!
